Description
Royal Canadian Air Force Lightweight Tartan is a light blue-based tartan with pink and black checks. Woven using 100% Pure New Acrylic Wool, this tartan is available for made-to-measure products, accessories, soft furnishings, and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.
This tartan was created in the early 1940s by Group Captain Elmer Fullerton. Based on the Anderson tartan and the RCAF color, the Royal Canadian Air Force tartan links land and community between Scotland and Canada through the symbolic use of color.
