Nesbit Ancient Heavyweight Tartan is an orange-based tartan with shades of green.
First mentioned in the 12th century, the Insets appear to have taken their name from the old Barony of Nesbit, in Edom Parish, in Berwick shire. They appear to have remained in the Border counties for several generations, but later some Insets were in other parts of Scotland.
