MacGill Modern Tartan Fabric

MacGill Modern Lightweight Tartan is a red-based tartan with colorful blue and yellow overchecks. Woven using 100% Pure New Acrylic Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland. The surname was found throughout much of the Highlands and was first recorded in 1231. The name might be compared with the Gaelic name Calbraith, meaning ‘Son of the Foreign Briton,’ as the name was notable in areas where there was a notable foreign input.
