MacDonald of Kingsburg Heavyweight Tartan is a bright orange and green-based tartan with a yellow overcheck.
James MacDonald of Kingsburg descended from the 4th Baron of Sleater and was killed at Eilean Donan Castle by the Mackenzies in 1539. Donald, 3rd of Kingsburg, was turbulent and warlike and carried on a feud against Clan MacLeod.
