Gillies Dress Ancient Heavyweight Tartan is a vibrant white and blue-based tartan with yellow & orange overchecks. Woven using 100% Scottish Acrylic Wool, this tartan is available for accessories, upholstery, and craft projects. Made here at our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.
This name comes from the Gaelic Gilels, the Servant of Jesus. It was common at one time in Badenoch, where the Macphersons of Inversive were known as the Sliced Gillies
