Amnesty International Lightweight tartan is a muted green and blue based tartan with an orange check. Woven using 100% Pure New Acrylic Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.
Amnesty International is the largest human rights organisation in the world and the first to have its own tartan. The Amnesty tartan began its life in 2001 in the mind of a determined Scottish member called Billy Scobie, whose dream was that Amnesty should have a celebratory tartan in its 40th year.
