Kennedy Modern Lightweight Tartan is a classic green-based tartan with colourful purple and yellow checks. Woven using 100% Pure New Acrylic Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland. The Clan Kennedy are an ancient family and were settled in Galloway in the 12th century. They descended from the first Earl of Carrick. The Kennedys of Demure, by marriage, became the chief family.
