Hunter Ancient Lightweight Tartan is a bright blue-based tartan with shades of green and red and a white over check. Woven using 100% Pure New Acrylic Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.
Hunter is a common name throughout Scotland and derived from the hunt and in old documents is given as Senator. Found in the Highlands and Lowlands in the 11th and 12th centuries, it is impossible to trace a common ancestor for this clan.
