Innes Red Modern Lightweight Tartan is a classic red-based tartan with a bold black check and yellow and blue overcheck. Woven using 100% Pure New Acrylic Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.
Clan Innes was found in Moray as early as the 12th century. Malcolm IV granted a charter of the lands of Innes to Berwald in 1160. In 1767 the lands of Innes were sold by Sir James, 6th Baronet, to the Earl of Fife.
